So, this is about the Mitsubishi pickup truck. The company has created the mid-size trucks. It looks pretty good though it’s old school, manual diesel, and single cab, it has its charm.
But there are some innovations like touch screen and adaptive cruise control. It started its trucks in 2009, and now it has a small stalwart: Triton. In some countries, it is called L200, but its name is Mitsubishi Triton.

So, what is it under the hood? There is a new turbo unit. It’s not a big change, still a turbocharged 2.4 diesel four-cylinder, and it can produce three output levels: 201 horsepower, 181 horsepower, and 148 horsepower. It’s paired with a 6-speed transmission, but there are also 6-speed manual transmissions available.

By default, it’s the rear-wheel drive, but it can also be equipped with Mitsubishi’s Super Select system. It sends 60% of the torque to the rear and 40% to the front. Mitsubishi states that the look of the car resembles a sharp gaze of a hawk, especially above the main headlight units.
It has more goodies, such as blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and other driver assistance features. We don’t think that Mitsubishi will bring the Triton to the U.S., but still, they could if there is enough interest from U.S. truck buyers.
